In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. Angels resided in heaven, and man upon the earth. War broke out in heaven. Some angels believed man was put before them, and that was blasphemous. The angels that believed God loved man over them were cast down from heaven to live on earth amongst man. Like man, they too had to make themselves right before God if they wanted God’s salvation. The angels mocked God and his salvation. They ran amuck on the earth, corrupting man and distorting the idea of God. They preyed on the weak and built their army on earth. In vain they deceived man to worship a God that’s salvation is unattainable. Their army grew in numbers. They have become countless… yet, they are one. They are known as Legion.
We are all guilty of it. It’s illegal and dangerous. We do it anyway, and warn our children not to. We think we are in control, and it will never happen to us. Every day we are behind the wheel of a killing machine, and think nothing of it. Yet, due to our own neglect, or someone else’s, every day could be our last.
Since the days of silent films the silver screen depicted horror with the intention of inflicting terror
and fear in to its audience. It wasn’t until the 1930’s that horror became a film genre. Millions across the globe flocked theaters to be terrified by fictional horror stories of monsters they hoped didn’t exist. Film censorship committees feared the fictional horror stories on screen would be believed and acted out in real life. Banned by states and countries, horror movies became rapidly enticing. The horror genre has become a mainstay in the film industry. There is a thirst for fictional terror. Now you can get it in your music too!
The belief of religious UFO cult, Heaven’s Gate, is to abort the body before it aborts you. Higher beings from outer space will come to save them from the recycling of the earth, and leave their flesh bodies behind. Part of their test of faith is hating this world, even their flesh bodies enough, to be willing to leave it. On March 26, 1997, the bodies of 39 cult members were found, and their faith was confirmed.
Witchdoctors, diabolical ceremonies, human sacrifice, and voodoo rituals… Zombies and the living dead… What are we to make of those that claim to have the power to raise the dead? Haiti is said to be the home of voodoo. When visiting, be sure you’re dead before you are buried…
